Biography
Connection! started as a group of church musicians with about seven teenagers ranging in ages of 13-18 from Houston, TX. They called themselves, The Youth Musicians. As the young men grew in age and stature, they felt the need for a name change. Thus Connection! was born in 2000. Later in 2000 Connection! first CD was recorded that was entitle, “Trouble Won’t Last Always.” The single Trouble Wont Last Always received high number of airplay across the country, putting the group in high demand in the southern region of the country. In 2006 the group recorded their first LIVE recording, which was entitle, “Victory LIVE.” Victory LIVE received positive feedback from all across the country, Gloryland Gospel rated the CD nine out of ten, also placed the CD in it is Top 20 chart, which Victory LIVE reach # 15. The Musbo Company placed the CD at #1 on its Top 20 Chart. 2009/2010 Connection! was chose by Live Nation to perform at The World Famous Houston House of Blues Gospel Brunch every 4th Sunday of every month. 2010 was a busy year for Connection! the group was nominated for two Rhythm of Gospel Awards (Male Quartet Of The Year and Traditional/Contemporary Group/ Duo Of The Year) In 2010 the group went into the studio to produce and record their latest CD that was entitle Unleashed. Later in the year the group was bless to sign a one CD recording/distribution deal with Tate Music Group/E1 Distribution. Unleashed was release March 2011 and has received airplay across the country and currently rank #11 of Gloryland Gospel Top 20 Chart, also Unleashed is Gloryland Gospel February 2011 CD Review selection.
